Speaker Introduction:

Luc Smolders is a very talented small animal surgeon. From 2004 to 2014, he completed DVM and PhD study at the famous Utrecht University in Netherlands. In 2021, he became a board-certified specialist of small animal surgery via the European College of Veterinary Surgery. Since 2008, Luc Smolders has been working in private practices and university’s teaching hospitals. Since 2013, Luc has been doing postdoc work, and has conducted as well as published many clinical research together with his mentor Professor Björn Meij.
