Dorien Willems has a special interest in MRI and CT, and also enjoys challenging ultrasound examinations. she is also the IVC Group's Imaging Techniques Leader for academic exchanges outside of the Group. she has also been invited to speak at international academic or training conferences.

The hospital where Dr. Willems works, the IVC Evidensia Netherlands Referral Center, is equipped with a Canon 3.0T MRI and benefits from a strong neurological specialty, with the hospital averaging several MRIs every weekday.The hospital also has higher-order diagnostic imaging equipment such as a 64-row CT, and is one of the designated teaching animal hospitals of the ECVDI.
